Electric Mini’s real world test delayed by real world lease applications

BMW has delayed the rollout of the electric powered Mini, cleverly dubbed the “Mini E”, to qualifying US lessees because of “too many applicants”. Of the 450 vehicles available for this exclusive test lease, Mini USA has received over 1800 applicants. Is it just me, or does this figure not seem very overwhelming? [...]
